Terms of Service

Republic AI runs day-to-day marketing for your business: it researches what's happening in your world, writes and designs draft posts in your voice, creates and manages advertising campaigns within budgets you set, and can draft changes to a website you connect. When you connect an account and approve the work, it publishes for you. You stay in control of what goes out.

You need an account to use the service. Keep your password private and tell us right away if you think someone else has access. You must be at least 16 and using the service for a business or professional purpose.

What you put in stays yours: your business information, uploaded images, and examples. What we create for you is yours too — you own the posts Republic AI generates for your business, including the images, once they're created in your account.

You give us permission to use your content only to operate the service for you — for example, sending your profile and instructions to our AI providers to write and design your posts.

Republic AI drafts content with artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes: facts can be wrong, and generated images are illustrations, not photographs of real events. You are responsible for reviewing every post before it's published and for making sure your content complies with the laws and professional rules that apply to your industry.

When you connect a social account, you must comply with that platform's own terms (for example, Meta's and LinkedIn's policies). We publish only what you approve, under the permissions you granted. You can disconnect an account at any time.

Don't use Republic AI to create content that is illegal, deceptive, harassing, or infringes someone else's rights; don't misrepresent who you are; and don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.

Republic AI has a free plan and paid subscriptions. The price, what each includes, and any limits on how much content can be generated are shown to you before you pay, on the checkout page and on our pricing page.

Billing cycle and renewal. Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you chose, and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. On a Team plan, a brand added part-way through a period is charged at once for the rest of that period and then renews with the rest of your plan; a brand removed part-way through is not refunded. If you subscribe on behalf of other businesses, you are our customer and you are responsible for their use of the service. Your card is charged through our payment processor, Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from the billing page in your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal — your subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and you keep access until then. We do not charge a cancellation fee.

Refunds. Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If something has gone wrong, email us — we would rather sort it out than argue about it.

Price changes and taxes. If we change the price, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before it takes effect. Prices exclude sales tax or VAT where it applies; any such tax is shown at checkout.

Advertising spend is separate. Your subscription pays for Republic AI. It does not include what you spend on advertising — see below.

Republic AI can create and manage advertising campaigns on platforms you connect, such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

You pay the platforms directly. Advertising spend is billed to you by the advertising platform under your own account and its own terms, not by us. We do not mark up, resell, or hold your ad budget.

You set the budget, and it is yours to change. Campaigns run within the budgets and rules you set, and you can pause or stop any campaign at any time in Republic AI or in the platform itself.

Results are not guaranteed. Advertising costs and results depend on auctions, competition, and audiences outside anyone's control. Nothing in the product or on our site is a promise of particular clicks, leads, sales, or a particular cost per result.

You remain the advertiser.You are responsible for following each platform's advertising policies and any law that applies to what you advertise — including the special rules that cover housing, employment, credit, and similar categories. We build guardrails for these, but the advertising is yours.

If you connect a website or a code repository, Republic AI can draft changes to it — posts and pages on WordPress, or proposed code changes on GitHub.

Nothing reaches your live site unless you approve it. Website content is created as a draft, and code changes are proposed as a pull request for you to review and accept. You decide what goes live, and you are responsible for what you publish. Keep your own backups: we can show you what changed and help you undo it, but we are not a backup service.

You can stop using Republic AI and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or end accounts that violate these terms. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give you reasonable notice to export your content.

The service is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Republic AI is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update this page and tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
